Online forex broker ForexTime (FXTM) has started accepting deposit payments to Skrill in GBP, PLN and CZK, it said on Friday. The broker now also allows Skrill withdrawals in these currencies.
Prior to the change, FXTM deposits and withdrawals to Skrill were limited to USD and EUR.
Users with GBP denominated trading accounts with FXTM will not need to pay conversion charges when making transfers in GBP, the broker said.
Last week, the broker adopted another payment system for deposit payments – Alipay.
Traders can fund their FXTM accounts using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and China UnionPay credit cards, and bank wire transfers to Barclays Bank, Rietumu Banka, Promsvyazbank, and PPF Bank. In addition, they can deposit funds via e-wallet payment systems Skrill, Neteller, WebMoney, Western Union Quick Pay, Payza, Dotpay, and Alipay.
Meanwhile, withdrawals are available via the same banks and credit card providers, as well as via FXTM Virtual Mastercard, broker-to-broker transfers, and the e-payment systems Skrill, Neteller, WebMoney, and Payza.
Skrill was set up in 2001 as Moneybookers and got rebranded in 2010. It is a digital payment system that allows money transfers in nearly 200 countries and 40 currencies. It is headquatered in London and has offices in Europe and the US. Skrill is used by a number of forex and contracts for difference (CFDs) brokers and is among the top choices for e-payments in the industry.
FXTM is registered in Cyprus and the UK and is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), which allows it to operate in and target citizens of all EU member states.
It offers trading with more than 100 instruments, including forex, spot metals, various contracts for difference (CFDs) on to retail and institutional clients. Its clients can choose to open Standard and Cent accounts, or one of four ECN account types. The broker uses the trading platforms MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5).
