Forex broker DMM FX Australia makes MT4 web platform available to clients

Forex broker DMM FX Australia, part of Japanese electronic commerce and Internet group DMM FX, said on Wednesday it has added the DMM FX MT4 WebTrader, or the web version of the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) trading platform, to its offering.

The DMM FX MT4 WebTrader platform provides advanced charting, technical analysis, one click trading, daily account statement and live summary.

In addition, the broker’s clients can also trade forex and commodities via other version of the MT4 platform – desktop platforns, including for MAC users, and mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.

MetaQuotes, the developer of MT4, launched the web version in September this year and within the first month received orders for it from more than 100 companies. The web version’s interface is near identical to that of the desktop platform. The MT4 WebTrader runs across all web browsers and is compatible with all operating systems, being it for desktop or mobile devices. A huge advantage over the other versions is that the web platform does not require the download or install of any software.

MT4, also available both as a desktop and mobile application, is the worlds’ most popular trading platform. With its outstanding customized charting package, auto-trading capabilities and signal copying, the platform is user-friendly and even novice traders can easily find their way around it. Traders can download ready-made or create their own automated trading strategies (Expert Advisors, or EAs), scripts and custom indicators in the MQL programming language.

Other brokers that offer the web version of the trading platform include brokerage group Alpari, Cyprus-licensed forex broker XM, Belize-registered FX Choice, UK-licensed One Financial Markets, and Australia’s IC Markets.

DMM FX Australia is registered in Australia and licensed by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). It offers investing services in over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives such as margin forex, contracts-for-difference (CFD).

Digital Media Mart, or DMM Group, consists of the companies with licenses by the ASIC and Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA). Besides forex and CFDs brokerage, the DMM group also offers, through its subsidiaries, web marketing, online video streaming, online shopping, online gaming, English study programs, robot manufacturing, solar panels and 3D printing.
