Charting platform TradingView said on Wednesday it has included Coinbase data to its offering. The platform’s charts and widgets now feature data on six more currency pairs with Bitcoin and Etherum – BT/CCAD, BTC/EUR, BTC/GBP, BTC/USD, ETH/BTC, and ETH/USD.
The platform developer said the new offering is in response to client demand. In the recent months, TradingView has been expanding its cryptocurreny instruments with Ether and real-time data from Poloniex cryptocurrency exchange.
Recently, the platform also announced it has launched a trading service. As a result, brokers can offer trading in forex, US stocks, and US futures via TradingView. The first broker to offer the service is US-based Forex Capital Markets, or FXCM.
TradingView provides charting tools that enable investors to get real-time information and market news and insights. It defines itself as an advanced financial visualization platform. Investors can publish trade ideas, browse others’ ideas, and learn from more experienced traders. They can also benefit from custom charts, regular and advanced ones, and more than 50 intelligent drawing tools, which will help them in understanding and analyzing the financial markets.
The social trading platform is available for use free of charge and provides access to stocks, futures, all major indices, forex, Bitcoin, and contracts for difference (CFDs).
The platform is web-based, meaning there is no use to download and install any software to use it. More than 294,000 investors currently use the platform.
