RECOMMENDED FOREX BROKERS
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Open trading accounts with at least two brokers.
Marches-Financiers.fr is a Cyprus regulated forex and CFD broker, offering a good variety of currency pairs with a choice of four account types and the Sirix trading platform.
Among the trading instruments we counted some 48 forex pairs with plenty of exotic currencies like South African Rand, Swedish Krona, Russian Ruble, Romanian Lei, Polish Zloty, Norwegian Krone, Mexican Peso, Israeli Shekel, Hungarian Forint, Czech Krona, Turkish Lira, Danish Krone, Singapore Dollar and Hong Kong Dollar. Apart form that the broker offers a selection of CFDs on oil, natural gas, gold, silver, corn, wheat, coffee, sugar, copper, indices and stocks.
The maximum leverage allowed is caped at 30:1, in line with the newly adopted European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) regulations, aimed at curbing investment risks.
Marches-Financiers.fr trading conditions
As tested with a Demo Account the bench mark EURUSD spread floated around 2,5 pips, which we should note is at least a pip higher than the levels, traders would usually expect with an opening account.
In its presentation, however, Marches-Financiers.fr offers four new account types – Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum with spreads advertised to start from 1,4 pips with the Bronze Account. Obviously the new trading conditions are still not implemented with the Demo Account.
Otherwise Marches-Financiers.fr promises spreads form 1,1 pips with the Silver Account, form 0,5 pips with the Gold Account and form 0,1 pips for the Platinum Account, where, however, you have a trade commission of 7 USD per standard lot, which basically adds another 0,7 pips to the spread (when the second currency of the pair is USD).
That we, should note, is a bit confusing as the actual starting spread with the Platinum account (with the commission calculated) reaches 0,8 pips (0,1 pip + 0,7 pips), which is higher than the promised 0,5 pips spread with the Gold Account. Have in mind that the minimum deposit requirement to open a Platinum account is 50 000 EUR, while to trade with a Gold Account you need to invest just 10 000 EUR.
In any case Marches-Financiers.fr should take some time to update their Demo Account and to clear their presentation of such discrepancies.
Marches-Financiers.fr trading platforms
Marches-Financiers.fr supports a web and a downloadable version of the Sirix trading platform, which is a good trading solution, best known for its social trading interface. Notable, as well, are the Sirix’s user friendly layout and various charting tools, although the platform lacks some customization options, standard with well known trading platforms like the MetaTrader4 and MetaTrader5.
Marches-Financiers.fr regulation & safety of funds
As we noted Marches-Financiers.fr is regulated by the Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission (CySEC) and that also gives the broker a carte blanche to operate in all other European Union countries. Marches-Financiers.fr is owned and operated by WGM Services Ltd., which also operates another forex and CFD broker – Ezinvest.
CySEC regulated brokers are generally considered reliable, as they are obliged to follow some strict financial and ethical rules, among which to maintain operational capital of at least 730 000 EUR, to provide a negative balance protection to all customers, to keep their money in a segregated, protected form creditors account, to refrain form offering trading bonuses, to file regular reports, to allow external audits and even to insure traders funds by participating in the CySEC backed Investor Compensation Fund.
Thus, if you are trading with a CySEC broker, your trading account will be insured for up to 20 000 EUR.
Marches-Financiers.fr deposit/withdrawal methods and fees
Marches-Financiers.fr accepts payments with major credit and debit cards like VISA and MasterCard, as well as via bank wire transfers. The minimum deposit amount is 500 EUR for the starting Bronze Account, which is some what higher than the deposit most brokers would ask you for.
Also, we miss some popular e-wallets like Neteller and Skrill.
