RECOMMENDED FOREX BROKERS
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Open trading accounts with at least two brokers.
Investous is a forex and CFD broker form Cyprus, regulated and authorized by the local Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
Investous offer includes an impressive selection of forex pairs – nearly 50, many of which crosses, minor or exotic like USDINR, USDZAR, USDSGD, USDTRY, USDSEK, USDRUB, USDPLN, USDNOK, USDMXN, USDHUF, USDHKD and USDDKK.
And the broker also offers various CFDs on energy and agricultural commodities including weed, cotton, cocoa, corn, wheat, coffee, sugar, orange juice, soybean aluminum, zinc, copper, oil and natural gas, precious metals like silver, gold, platinum and palladium, indices, stocks and crypto coins like Dash, Ripple, Monero, Stellar, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and Bitcoin Gold.
Investous trading conditions
Investous offers four account types – Basic, Gold, Platinum and VIP, we tested a demo account that mirrors the Basic Account and the spreads were in line with what was advertised. The benchmark EURUSD spread floated about 2,3 pip – 2,4 pips.
Still, bear in mind that with a standard account traders would usually expect spreads to start below 1,5 pips.
So honestly we are a bit disappointed – floating EURUSD spread of 1,8 pips with the Gold Account and 1,4 pips with the Platinum account are also not good enough, because of the higher minimum deposit requirements for those premium accounts.
Probably trading conditions are satisfactory only with the VIP account, where the EURUSD spread is below 1 pip. For that account, however you will have to invest no less then 50 000 USD.
As for the leverage it is in line with the new regulations adopted by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) in early August last year, according which the maximum leverage with forex transactions for retail traders can not exceed 1:30.
