An employee of a multi million investment scam Questlink Digital Marketing Services, which promised investors 500% profit in just 15 days, has surrendered to the Philippine police and pledged full cooperation to help to track down company executives, who allegedly fled with at least 3,85 million USD, ABS-CBN News reports.
Christian Estabes, who was a coordinator in Questlink said he turned himself in, because he was afraid investors will hunt him down and ask for their money back.
Questlink CEO and operations manager are both still at large after they fled with allegedly between 200 million and 500 million Philippine pesos (roughly 4 million USD to 10 million USD).
According to the police Questlink did not have an office and were running their business form a local hotel in Tagum City.
The minimum required “investment” has been as low as 385 USD, but some customers deposited as much as 50 000 USD with a promise that their money will double in less then a week.
About a hundred scammed investors have already filed complaints and the police urges other victims to do the same.
