Capital Stock review – 5 things you should know about

Rating: 1.1

Beware! The Capital Stock is an offshore broker! Your investment may be at risk.

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Open trading accounts with at least two brokers.

Capital Stock is a Forex brokerage registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It provides the MetaTrader 4 trading platform. Furthermore, the website flaunts with a wide range of trading products and the required minimum deposit is the industry average of $250. The trading conditions are also favorable since the spread is below the benchmark of 1.5 pips on EUR/USD and the leverage is reasonable at European regulatory levels of only 1:30.

Capital Stock regulation & safety of funds

On the brokers website we read that the broker brand is owned and operated by a SVG-based company registered with the name Kleinman Enterprise Ltd. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a well-known offshore zone and a preferred location for shady brokerage. Readers are reminded that the government of SVG has had to publicly state quite a few times in the past that it does not regulate Forex trading and thus we may safely conclude that not only is the brokerage not regulated. Furthermore, trading with an offshore, unregulated brokerage hides a lot of risk. There may be commingling which means that the brokerage may commingle together the finances of the firm and the finances of the clients. We highlight the danger in doing business with a fraudulent website since the people behind it do not answer to any authority and have no reason to uphold the client agreement. Even though, while researching the brokerage on the web, we did not come upon an official warning issued by a financial regulator, it is a safe bet that soon enough Kleinman Enterprise will fall on the radar of the European authorities for targeting European traders without proper authorization. All in all, it’s safe to say that trading with the brokerage carries with it much unwanted risk.

Traders needn’t have to worry themselves with such risk if they choose to trade with a brokerage regulated and authorized by a prestigious regulatory agency. Such agencies are the FCA in the UK or CySec in Cyprus which have been leading names in Forex trading for some time now. Their regulatory framework is composed of a number of strict rules which prevent clients from falling victims to fraud. Such rules include the segregation of accounts which assures that commingling with the client’s money is not possible. Furthermore, a license by such a regulatory body entails participation in a financial mechanism by which clients may be compensated if they suffer losses due to fraud or bankruptcy. With the FCA the compensation is up to 85 000 pounds, where as with CySEC it is up to 20 000 euro per person.

Capital Stock trading software

The MetaTrader 4 trading platform is supported which is something we always consider an advantage since the MT4 is among the foremost trading terminals in Forex trading at the moment, close to 80 percent of users prefer it. The platform provides an advanced charting package, lots of technical indicators, extensive back-testing environment and a variety of Expert Advisors (EAs). Through a demo account we could see that the trading condition with the spread being about the industry average at 1.5 pips and the leverage keeping in line with the European regulatory cap of 1:30 even though the brokerage is registered offshore. We must say that despite the lack of regulatory oversight, the brokerage does provide traders with an attractive offer, however, the risk of trading with an unlicensed brokerage is always there and there are no two ways around it.

Capital Stock deposit/withdrawal methods and fees

Potential clients of a brokerage may deposit or withdraw only via the standard Visa and MasterCard, as well as bank wire, however, popular and preferred by traders e-wallets such as WebMoney, Skrill or Neteller are sadly not supported.

We did not find any stated withdrawal fees either, however, dealing with unregulated brokerage we may never be sure whether they wont charge unexpected fees once the clients have deposited their funds.  There are also withdrawal conditions pertaining to accounts that have taken advantage of the bonus promotion. A trader has to achieve a certain trading volume in order to be eligible for withdrawal which is purposefully excessive in order to impede any trader from actually receiving his money. Legitimate brokerage which are regulated in Europe do not offer such promotions and even if they do, the information regarding potential withdrawal requirements is always presented straight-forward on the website, not hidden away in the terms and conditions.

Such website are also the reason we advise traders to always put up only the required minimum deposit, instead of risking a bigger amount with no certainty. Afterwards, they may also try to withdraw a small amount in order to check for any unexpected fees or delays. Such fees and delays are usually the signs of a scammer.

How does the scam work?

Even though the forex trading world is extremely large and encompasses millions of people around the globe, the most common scamming is pretty simple and straightforward and as such – it’s not particularly daring to avoid. Here is a quick overview of how it is done:

Through clicking an ad with promises for fast money, you will be redirected to a website such as Bitcoin Evolution or The bitcoin miner where registration will require you to give your address, email and phone number. After sharing your personal information, you will being receiving calls from brokers, compelling you to invest with them and win big. After a few minutes hearing their pitches, you decide to deposit some $200-250. And just like that – the scammers take a fat commission from this initial deposit.

After they are done with you, senior scammers begin working you into putting even more money. They say it’s the only way to profit from trading even more. After making the mistake of investing even further, you’ll begin wanting to get out of this and withdraw what you have left.

Unfortunately, the con-artists have no such thing in mind. They will now begin persuading you to wait it out and not withdraw right now. The angle here is pretty blunt – traders have a limited time period for filing achargeback with their bank and get their money back. The “recovery department” will simply want to mislead you into missing thе crucial period and, along the way, losing any chance you might have of getting the money back.

It is important here to take notice that both Visa and MasterCard are taking measures to combat unregulated forex brokerages by classifying all forex transactions as high risk. And they are correct in doing so. Furthermore, supporting their intention with clear actions – MasterCard has increased the previous time period of six months for filing a chargeback to a year and a half.

What to do when scammed?

As was mentioned above, scamming is quite the common in the trading world and, sadly, even you might suffer from it. In such an unfortunate case there still may be some available options for you.

You may contact your bank or credit card provider and file a chargeback.

If, however, you have provided the broker with your credit card details, immediately cancel your credit card.

If you have given information regarding your online banking pass – you should switch it asap!

Beware of potential calls from self-described “recovery agencies”! They prey on scammed and vulnerable traders who are desperate to recover their losses. They will require an “up-front” payment to help you, but after paying them, no such help will be coming your way!

    1. Molnár Zoltán Imre

I, too, was beaten by a man named EVA FOSTER (tel: 004721403808 Norway, email: [email protected]) but we are sadly there at the moment that they do not want to repay a penny, even though the bank transfer is already 10%. I also paid them as a commission and they also received an amount of 1000 Eu, which they called a bonus at the start, but now they say that due to the change in the Bitcoin exchange rate I still have to pay 1200 euros and then they transfer the full amount within 24 hours. I am no longer willing to do this, it will be an eternal lesson for a lifetime that I lost 3090 euros !!! I reported them to the police for fraud, do this to everyone you cheated on !!!

  5. HI. I fighting with them now to get my money back.
Actually it have been a good conversation until now. Acount Manager have been Ryan Davis – and broker have been Alex as well. But now when I will withdraw my money they want more. Have anymore succeeded to get some money?
unfortunately I need my money because of Corona. 🙁

    1. Did you get your money back?

  6. Stay far from those thief. Money in your accont is not real. Profits are made look like huge just to make you deposit more and more. As soon you stop giving more your accont stop growing. Next they will ask you pay to get your money back. It is only new way try steal more from you. Last thing Michael Strange (who use number +35796106661) most probably fake name, did was asking me open crypto wallet to send money because ”my banck don’t accept money”. Just now I should pay 500€ to do this. Funny thing is my banck say they never did any transver to my accont.

  7. Good day. thecapitalstock refuses to pay and cancel my account.
I made 3 payments with a visa card and 2 payments with an electronic
wallet (bitcoin). The last bitcoin payment was a 10% account cancellation
fee. payment received for thecapitalstocks, then no more communication
    from the capital stock. my payments 1100 € + € 535 and sales € 3,673,
total € 5308. company not responding, broaker (Eva Foster) is not responding.
I have everything based on email communication. on the day of writing the
review, the reluctance to pay money lasts more than 2 months. I will try a
criminal law to return the money. I am writing this experience to be careful
when investing with Thecapitalstocks.^NO INVESTING !!

  8. I was cheated by Martin Hawes (Tel: +44 20 8089 7995) (e-mail: [email protected]), but that’s probably not his own name, as scammers always use a fake name. He called me from London.
Until he saw hope that I would transfer even more money to The Capitalstocks, the profit on my account had grown very spectacularly. When I had told him many times that I could not transfer more money, we agreed to close the project at the end of the year and he transfer back my money. The project closure looked like there were not a single transaction between November 16th and December 30th. Then on December 30, the broker reset my account with 6 transactions in 1 minute so you don’t have to repay anything. Since then, silent silence. Neither Martin Hawes nor The Capitalstocks will respond to my email.
Maybe what we can do against such fraudulent brokers is join forces and get as many people as possible to report The Capitalstocks and the broker who cheated. Anyone who has been deceived by The Capitalstock should report the case to Here you can easily report fraud online. Maybe the UK police can stop this criminal organization.

  9. I invested in the Capital stock also and never received the Money I was promised. Michael Strange and Mary Burns were the people I was dealing with. Fake names… I belive…I hope they will suffer!!!!

  10. I am currently dealing with a guy called Michael Strange (Tel: +357 96 106661 – [email protected]) but obviously not his real name. Have lost the best part £15,000.00 and he’s still ringing me asking for £20,000 to receive the £200,000.00 balance that’s supposedly in my account. Only have myself to blame for being too greedy and desperate to get out of my current work situation, as the warning signs were there along time ago. I just chose to ignore them and thought I could Trust this guy. But this is what they prey on and try get as much info about your personal life then pretend they genuinely care, but they’re just after your money. I now know I will never see that cash again, especially as many of the transactions were in Bitcoin, so no trace as far as they are concerned. Their website is longer available as ‘Michael’ told me they are relocating their head office to firstly Singapore, now Germany. A total fraud and really don’t know how these guys manage to sleep at night knowing they are nothing more than scum ruining so many innocent people’s lives. However, I am hoping Karma catches up with these guys and they ALL get what they deserve.
But I thank them for teaching me a very expensive lesson in life… If it seems too good to be true, that’s because it is and carry out your own due diligence checks on these crooks before committing to anything.
