PaySafe Group recently partnered with one of the biggest companies today, namely the tech giant Microsoft. The global payment provider can now activate its paysafecard payment services in the Microsoft store. The service is available in 22 countries.
Users of the Microsoft Store and of Xbox.com will be able to make in-store purchases through Paysafe. The service allows clients to make payments without the need to use a bank account or credit card, which in turn will encourage more people to join PaySafe. Users of Xbox game consoles, and other related peripherals, will be able to access these services in early 2021.
Those wanting to pay for a Microsoft subscription or purchase anything from the Microsoft store can now do so through a wide range of payment methods, including paysafecard, credit card, debit card, bank transfer, PayPal, and a few other minor alternatives.
Senior Director at Microsoft Trevor Nies had this to add about the deal:
“We are proud to enable cash-based customers to access the world of online shopping with a solution that is as reliable, easy and secure as paysafecard.” He added that the newly included payment option was the next logical step for Microsoft.
With the increasing e-commerce competition, the latest move by PaySafe is aimed at boosting its presence in the area. Recently, it acquired gift card payment network Opnebucks, while also participating with Kraken, a US exchange, and its network of crypto liquidity providers.
