Beware! Tradiso is an offshore broker! Your investment may be at risk.
RECOMMENDED FOREX BROKERS
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Open trading accounts with at least two brokers.
Tradiso is yet another offshore broker that we think you should avoid at all costs – here is why:
Tradiso regulation and safety of funds
Tradiso is not a regulated broker – instead it hails from the offshore scam haven of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This country is notorious for the fact it does not regulate its Forex markets – a fact that Tradiso would have you believe the opposite of, as you can see below:
No broker is “regulated” by St. Vincent’s authorities. This allows hundreds of scammers to set up shop there and run their schemes without any opposition. And even if a company from St. Vincent does not run a scam, there is no telling how long it can survive on the volatile Forex markets – most such companies go under in a couple of months of their inception.
Compare that to a stricter jurisdiction like the UK – it requires any broker that holds a license with it to report on a daily basis on open and closed trades, which makes it quite impossible for any of them to engage in price manipulation of any kind.
Furthermore, to own a license in the first place, a broker needs to have over 730 000 euro to its name, which proves it has the needed liquidity to operate on the notoriously volatile markets. And even if it not enough, its clients are entitled to compensation from guarantee funds companies are required to participate in – this compensation is up to 85 000 pounds per affected client.
Tradiso trading software
Tradiso provides access to the legendary Metatrader 4 platform and its successor Metatrader 5 – revered for their powerful automated trading features. However, much better brokers than Tradiso have them available – so stick with one of them! Here are the platforms in that order:
Tradiso offers spreads much higher than the accepted 1 pip difference on FX majors. The leverage is also too high, 1:100. Such amounts are banned in most jurisdictions as too risky for retail traders. In fact, most brokers that offer them nowadays are just like Tradiso – they are seeking to simply attract more clients!
Tradiso deposit and withdrawal methods
Tradiso accepts only crypto deposits – they are ineligible for a chargeback, which makes us think that Tradiso seeks to limit the withdrawals of its clients – a belief further reinforced by the fact the broker does not have its withdrawal policy available on its website. This usually means that the broker seeks to impose hefty fees on withdrawals, or burden them with another complication!
How does the scam work?
Tradiso is definitely running a scam – furthermore, it does so by using a scheme we have seen hundreds of times before. Here is how that malicious scheme usually plays out:
First off, someone stumbles upon the broker’s website – and, on it, they are prompted to make an account. Should they chose to do so, they will be required to leave a phone number – something crucial to the scammers, who will then use it to start calling around the clock to demand deposits. More and more will be taken from the victim, until they either have nothing left to deposit or realize they are being conned – and, at that point the scammers will simply move on to new targets and cut them off.
What to do when scammed?
Everyone is vulnerable to scams – the people who run them are masterful manipulators. It could happen to you too – but fortunately, there are some steps you can take to limit your further losses:
First off, you should restore your privacy – recall what forms of IDs and credit cards the scammers had access to, and get new ones issued ASAP. Also, remove any kind of remote control software they had you install on your PC.
Once that is done, contact your bank and see if you can file a chargeback – considering Tradiso only takes crypto deposits, this will most likely be fruitless. But if you are contacted by a recovery agency that promises to restore lost funds at the cost of an upfront payment, know it to be simply another scam!
Finally, do not hesitate to leave a comment below, and share your own thoughts on Tradiso – this will help raise awareness of the workings of the scam, which is the best way to combat it!
