The Italian financial and Forex regulator has revealed five news websites that is has officially blacklisted. Currently, the total list of red-flagged websites by CONSOB since July 2019 is at 537.
The overseer, in a typical move, stressed the importance of due diligence and user awareness in today’s risky trading environments. It has increased its efforts to fight today’s scammers and perps.
Furthermore, CONSOB announced a partnership with Supervision of Insurance – Ivass- that was created with the purpose of collaborating. The purpose is, of course, to increase the protection of users in Italy from fraudsters. Said CONSOB,
“Consob draws investors’ attention to the importance of adopting the greatest diligence in order to make informed investment choices, adopting common sense behaviors, essential to safeguard their savings…”
The five recent entries into the Italian’s regulator are Wabbit Group, Seabreeze Partners LTD, Llajes Services , Axis Solutions, and Brocprime.
The partnership with Ivass – a signed framework agreement- is a collaborative set of actions that will further ensure users safety in face of the threats of scammer firms l.
The regulator commented that the main duties of this indirect collaboration is “to guarantee investor protection and adequate protection of policyholders as well as stability of the financial and insurance system. The agreement provides the commitment of each Authority to provide the other with the widest and most effective collaboration,”
